Interreg North-West Europe (NWE)’s Post

Yesterday, potential project applicants for call 5 had the opportunity to enjoy a stunning view of Düsseldorf and gain valuable insights into the Interreg NWE Programme at the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia. The German NWE Contact Points, Lorraine Brindel-Schild and Nora Crossey, alongside Development Officer Helene Schabasser from the Joint Secretariat, provided an in-depth presentation of the Programme and its priorities. NWE testimonial Anke Althoff (Flashfloodbreaker) offered practical tips for project management, humorously noting that the shared language of Interreg projects isn’t English, but "Interreglish." Dr. Tim Scholze explained how his first EU project on sustainable pasture management eventually led to his current work on biochar value chains (CASCADE) — four Interreg projects later! Both NWE testimonials spoke with passion about Interreg and conveyed inspiration and courage for the upcoming call 5 to the audience. #interreg #germany #NWECall5
