I was delighted to speak today at the FAIR-Impact National Roadshow in The Hague. I started with a little story. About 18 months ago, I embarked on a journey with a career coach to gain clarity on what truly matters to me in my career. One of the first exercises was identifying my personal values. This experience was eye-opening and I highly recommend it to everyone—it can help you understand what’s important in all areas of your life. For me, making a difference with empathy, using my creativity, constantly learning, and having my expertise recognized are my guiding principles. These values shape my life and decisions, reflecting what I stand for and aspire to be. When UNESCO published their recommendations on Open Science in 2021, I noticed a strong alignment between my personal values and the values of Open Research, such as quality and integrity, collective benefit, equity and fairness, and diversity and inclusiveness. Recognizing this alignment keeps me motivated and enthusiastic about promoting FAIR Data and Open Research. It’s easy to dismiss corporate values as clichés, but shared values can be powerful motivators. This is my WHY. Understanding why we do what we do at a fundamental level keeps us going, even when the journey is tough. Every time I face challenges or repetitive conversations, I remind myself that I believe in the power of FAIR data to make the world a better place. #OpenScience #FAIRData #PersonalValues #CareerJourney #Motivation

🏆 Three Interreg Europe projects are applying for #Regiostars2024! 🌟 The RegioStars Awards recognise projects that inspire and innovate, showcasing good practices in regional development. The RegioStars jury will select the winners, but the public will also have a possibility to choose their favourite among the finalists between 2 September and 8 October 2024. 💡 Our projects that are applying are CRAFTS CODE, MATCH-UP and ThreeT. While they were running, their goals were, respectively, to address SME competitiveness, environment and resource efficiency, and low-carbon economy. 📍 ASCAME PROJECTS I The Interreg NEXT MED Programme has announced a series of national information days, the #GREENMEDTOUR, to guide organisations through the €83.7 million Call for Green Transition Projects. 🎯 These events, taking place across all participating countries, have been designed to equip interested organizations with the knowledge and resources needed to master the rules, requirements, and submission process of the call. Key sessions will include insights on the terms of reference of the call for proposals, comprehensive insights into eligibility and financial rules, apart from advice to design a competitive proposal and submit it through the e-application form. First workshop for the definition of the Trentino's DES action plan in the Interreg CE 3P4SSE project! On the morning of 11 June 2024 there was the first meeting to define the new action plan of the Trentino's DES of the Interreg CE 3P4SSE project! The meeting was attended by 15 people including the stakeholders of the Trentino solidarity economy and the PAT. The works were managed with the support of Euricse with the tool of world coffee. 2 working tables have been created. The theme of the first debate was focused on how can we create a greater interaction between citizens - DES and public administration? An initial phase of discussion and listening was followed by a second phase of defining actions which were then shared by a spokesperson. The second moment of world coffee had as its theme that of imagining DES in 2030 and defining the mapping of internal critical issues and the current system also aimed at the creation of new DES and new pilot projects in the area. The actions and strategies discussed were very strong and relevant. Today I will share the 3 key messages I presented 2 days ago on Tuesday 21st January 2025 during the partner session of the 2nd Interreg NEXT MED Programme call focused on the Mediterranean green transition. The tackled specific objective of the day was:  3.1 Equal access to inclusive and quality services in education, training and lifelong learning. If you are planning to prepare a proposal under this topic, I would recommend the following: Key message 1: What are the most affected sectors by the climate change? Key message 2: Who are the most relevant target groups you want to tackle according to your territories' needs? Key message 3: Get involve the identified and relevant target groups in the need assessment and design of the most appropriate training course that better adjust to their needs and those of the territory.
