Rewriting Holiday Traditions: A Non-Traditional Thanksgiving Thanksgiving has always been a big deal for many—filled with family, food, and festive traditions. But for me, it’s never been quite like that. For most of my life, I’ve struggled with the pressure to celebrate in a "traditional" way, but over time, I’ve realized that what matters most is creating a holiday that reflects my needs and values. In my latest blog post, I share my journey toward embracing a non-traditional Thanksgiving, letting go of societal expectations, and learning to celebrate on my own terms. If you’ve ever felt the weight of trying to meet others’ expectations during the holidays, or struggled to make peace with family traditions that don’t serve you, this post is for you. I’m challenging myself (and you) to be intentional about how we spend this time of year—whether it’s with loved ones or in much-needed solitude. After all, self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. Check out the full post to learn how to experience Thanksgiving on your own terms. https://lnkd.in/g6dTxg29

What do we say every Thanksgiving? Save room for pie... I love Thanksgiving. It's one holiday that the entire country celebrates, you get to spend time with your family or friends, and a four-day weekend feels luxurious. And, of course, pie. My Thanksgiving celebrations have become kind of predictable as of late, but maybe that's why I love them. Here's what I can expect again this year. What will make up your Thanksgiving pie?

If you aren't planning your Thanksgiving roll-out already, then you are behind. Your competitors (other families) have identified their blockers and aligned each member of the team by now. Thanksgiving in my house is all about leveraging technology and brands to create the ideal consumer experience. Every family member at the table experiences a custom B2C flow based on their individual profile. I do extensive research and build user personas of everyone attending. If you're still stuck on the micro, you're missing the macro of the meal. I'm combining the gratitude of the holiday with proven, industry-leading strategies to form a plan that I call my Thanksgiving 'Grategy'. What are your Thanksgiving objectives?

Family, Gratitude, and the Essence of Thanksgiving 🍂 Thanksgiving has always been a time for reflection, for counting our blessings, and most importantly, for coming together with the people who matter most—our families. In a world that often moves too fast, Thanksgiving offers us the chance to pause, share a meal, and create cherished memories with loved ones. It’s a reminder of the power of connection, love, and the importance of being present with one another. For me, Thanksgiving is about more than just tradition; it’s about embracing those moments of togetherness that strengthen family bonds and fill our hearts with gratitude. The warmth of a home filled with laughter, good food, and shared stories is something we carry with us long after the holiday ends. This year, why not add a new layer of excitement and joy to your Thanksgiving celebration? Start a new tradition with fireworks! 🎆 Just imagine gathering your family outdoors, under the stars, and lighting up the night with a spectacular fireworks display—a fun and meaningful way to bring even more light and celebration into the holiday. And if you don’t want the hassle of doing it yourself, leave the details to us—the pros! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show while we handle everything. You can focus on what really matters—quality time with your family. Ready to make your Thanksgiving unforgettable? Let’s create magical memories together! 🍁 #Thanksgiving2024 #FamilyTradition #Gratitude #FlickTheFireworks #NewHolidayTradition #CelebrateTogether
