🇺🇸 Honoring Veterans Day with Purpose and Legacy This weekend, we honor the service members among us and pay respect to their sacrifices. As a Marine veteran, a husband, and a father, Veterans Day holds a unique meaning for me. When I first left the Marines in 2007, I didn’t want to be recognized as a veteran. To many of us, service isn’t a badge of honor—it’s just a part of our past. Yet, no matter how far behind us it seems, the questions remain: Did it matter? And why? For me, service mattered because it strengthened us to live better, fuller lives—to become better parents, partners, and human beings. Veterans carry a complex toolbox of experiences, each one shaping us in ways we may not yet fully understand. Many veterans come home but, in some ways, never truly feel home. Instead of “thank you for your service,” consider saying, “Welcome home.” Those words might be the first step in their journey back to their family, and back to themselves. For me, being a veteran is about using the tools my service gave me to build a life worthy of those who didn’t make it back. It’s about creating a legacy, a family so strong it makes its own mark. As Steve Jobs said, “We are here to put a dent in the universe.” My hope is that, someday, people will see that dent and know it was left by the Killoy's. On this Veterans Day, I challenge you to see veterans as an inspiration for the life and legacy you want to create—a life filled with adventure, depth, community, and family. Build something that reaches beyond your years and well beyond the years of service we give. This is how we honor veterans on Veterans Day. It’s always inspiring to see organizations like Client Solution Architects(CSA) recognize the contributions of veterans. As someone who has navigated the transition from military service to civilian life, I understand the importance of finding an employer who doesn’t just see your service as a line on a resume but values the leadership, resilience, and dedication veterans bring to the table. Employers like CSA spotlight veterans, honor their sacrifices and actively create opportunities for them to show what genuine support looks like. For veterans, finding these companies can make all the difference—not just in building a career but in finding purpose and belonging after service. To my fellow veterans: Look for employers who don’t just talk about support but demonstrate it through action. Employers who understand the challenges we face and are willing to work alongside us to build meaningful careers. Thank you, Jerome Peterson, for sharing your story and reminding us of the enduring legacy veterans create. Let’s keep building connections between veterans and employers who genuinely care. #Veterans #CareerTransitions #EmployersThatCare #Leadership #ThankYouVeterans
In this week's #FridayFeature, we highlight Veteran Sgt—Jerome J. Peterson, Jr., as part of our celebration of #VeteransandMilitaryFamilyMonth. Jerome shares an inspiring message on the courage and selflessness that characterize our nation's veterans. As we continue to spotlight CSA's heroes this month, let us remember their sacrifices, leadership, and contributions that build an enduring legacy for future generations. 🇺🇸 #CSA #Veterans #ThankYouVeterans

It’s disappointing to see companies, especially those who pride themselves on supporting veterans, not honor Veteran's Day, with a day off. Veterans have made sacrifices many of us can’t fully comprehend, and offering them a day to pause, reflect, and feel valued is a meaningful gesture of respect. Observing Veterans Day as a holiday isn’t just an added benefit; it’s an acknowledgment of the unique contributions veterans bring to our workplaces and communities. For companies that hire and support veterans, taking this day to honor them shows a true commitment to the values they stand for. Let’s remember the importance of honoring those who have served us. #VeteransDay #HonorOurVeterans #SupportOurVeterans #RespectAndRecognition #VeteranSupport #CorporateResponsibility #EmployeeWellbeing #HonorAndRespect #ThankYouVeterans #InclusiveWorkplace #VeteranAppreciation #WalkTheTalk #ValuesInAction #CorporateCulture #Leadership

📣 ❤️ 🤍 💙 SHOUTOUT To Our VETERANS ❤️ 🤍 💙 📣 Today, especially, we want to take a moment to honor and thank all the veterans who have served our country. Your dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms are beyond words. Veterans exemplify the true essence of strong leadership—one that is not just about guiding others, but also about making sacrifices for a greater cause. In the military, leadership is not about position or power, but about responsibility, resilience, and putting the needs of others before your own. It's about showing up, even when the path is uncertain or difficult, and being willing to put the team and mission above all else. As we reflect on the service and sacrifices of our veterans, let's remember that leadership is not always about taking credit—sometimes, it's about stepping up when no one else will, making tough decisions, and standing firm in the face of adversity. It's a reminder that the greatest leaders often sacrifice the most, for the good of those they serve. Thank you, veterans, for your strength, your courage, and your incredible leadership. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done and continue to do. 📣 Please thank your veterans in the comments.📣 #VeteransDay #Leadership #Sacrifice #ThankYouVeterans #BeALeader #ProudToBeAnAmerican #America #LeadershipTraining

Just like in the military, the bonds veterans share are powerful. In supportive workplaces, they can connect with others, navigate challenges together, and find a sense of belonging. Not Just a Label: The Power of Being a Veteran Labels. We encounter them every day - some given to us, some we assign to ourselves. But have you ever stopped to think about the labels that truly define us, the ones we actively choose to embrace and embody? As a veteran, I've come to realize that being labeled as such isn't just a title bestowed upon us; it's a conscious decision we make to take action, to serve, to sacrifice, and to protect. It's a label that encompasses a wealth of experiences, skills, and values that shape who we are and how we navigate the world around us. Unfortunately, many outside of the military will not take the time to try and understand them. (I am not suggesting it's their responsibility to do so.) What sets the label of a veteran apart is that it's not merely a description of what we've done; it's a reflection of who we are at our core. It signifies a commitment to something greater than ourselves, a dedication to duty, honor, and country. But beyond the uniform and the accolades, being a veteran is about the intangible qualities that define our character - resilience in the face of adversity, leadership in times of uncertainty, and a deep sense of camaraderie that binds us together as a community. So, the next time you hear the label "veteran," I encourage you to see beyond the surface and recognize the depth of experience and strength that lies beneath. It's not just a title; it's a testament to the values we hold dear and the actions we've taken to uphold them. To my fellow veterans: Wear the label proudly, for it is a symbol of your unwavering commitment and the legacy you continue to build every day. #Veteran #ProudToServe #MilitaryCommunity #Labels #Identity #Strength #Leadership
