ION was pleased to welcome its recent visitors from the Maryland House of Representatives: State Delegate and Chairman of the Economic Matters Committee, Ct Wilson; State Delegate, David Fraser-Hidalgo; and their staff. Together the group toured ION’s 30,000-square-foot-facility and shared details about our state-of-the-art solid-state battery production pilot line. We are immensely grateful for their ongoing support of our work. Thank you for championing our efforts toward a more efficient solid-state battery right here in Maryland! #IONStorageSystems #SolidState #Innovation

The fission industry is ignorant of what's happening around it and has buried its head in the sand. Pull your heads out and start backing, investing, and adjusting your industry to fusion energy and start preparing to enter the commercial growing fusion energy industry. Great Headline Guardian on Nuclear fission. https://lnkd.in/g8sMZtpR Fission is moving towards obsolescence at an accelerated pace, as it is "out of step, out of time, out of place," and merely a temporary industry globally. Commercial fusion electrical energy generation is a promising and innovative method of producing sustainable and clean energy. By 2028, Helion is expected to start producing electricity from its first fusion commercial power plant, which will provide electricity to Microsoft. The plant will produce at least 50 MWe after an initial ramp-up period. https://lnkd.in/gY9J3MQY If you want nuclear energy, opt for the cleaner and safer option of FUSION. Now see what news is happening in the Fusion industry in the world. https://lnkd.in/g9hMBD7a As fission trebles, fission fuel shortage in 100 or 80 years is increasingly real, as stated in recent UN documents and linked below. https://lnkd.in/gze5rwpr

We die, Carrel said, because our bodies contain so many specialized cells that they no longer can undergo the rejuvenating influence of cell division. Death, Carrel said, was the result of wear and tear within undividing cells that could not repair the damage. At least a dozen hypotheses have been advanced to explain how a cell might lose its capacity to live. The lipofuscin theory of cell aging is that, as the gunk accumulates, cells become less and less able to recycle their other molecules and structures. Lysosomes are essential to that process because they break down the old hardware of life, reducing it to its raw materials, which then are reused for new construction. A lysosome jammed with lipofuscin could not supply raw materials for cell renewal. https://lnkd.in/g3_Jjdce.

Highly recommended! It's is crucially important to decarbonize all sectors: Electricity, mobility AND last not least industry. Heat batteries are an important brick 😉 for turning clean & cheap renewable electricity into process heat for industrial processes. So geht #Energiewende! #energytransition #storage
