Justin Satterfield hits the right note about culture being king. In today's experience economy, the quality of the employee experience is at an all time high. Today's consumer considers small details like how beautiful and simple a product's packaging is during the unboxing. There is no on/off button for that level of perception and delight/disappointment. Imagine what successes you can deliver when your organization intentionally designs layers of harmony and interconnectedness into the experience. Having great culture is a proverbial "magic wand" that you can wave over any facet of your company. That's exactly what we designed here at Norwood. We prioritize an internal culture that we share outwardly with our partners so that we can be a bigger partner and a better partner for the partners that are right for us. How well do you recognize and appreciate your team's efforts and accomplishments? Board chair Meridith Elliott Powell, CSP, CPAE, provided a masterclass in this crucial leadership function at today's closing session at #Influence, the National Speakers Association annual convention. Meridith didn't simply recognize the NSA staff as a whole; as you can see here, she went down the line, thanking everyone by name and recognizing their specific contributions to an exceptional event. Everyone on the team walked off the stage a little taller after Meridith's encouragement.
