The Service Orchestration and Automation Platform (SOAP) market is not simply an updated version of your ancestor's mainframe-oriented job scheduling tooling. It's becoming so mission critical that I liken it to being something akin to the importance of middleware (and this is not so farfetched a concept as it might seem as orchestration is a means of application integration). In addition, we also believe that it will be a hub of where #AI and #GenerativeAI are increasingly leveraged to not only help with the workflow development experience, but to also provide greater intelligence for runtime workflow monitoring and handling. It was interesting to see some early indications of this within our initial #MagicQuadrant effort and we hope that these capabilities will increasingly mature before we conduct the next evaluation.
