Really great podcast series just started, "Fuel to Fork" with episode one, "There's fossil fuels in our food?!" Well yes there are.... And "transport miles" only accounts for around 10% of fuel used in our food system. The oil industry is starting to realise that as we decarbonise our energy and transport systems, their biggest areas of growth for the next 10 years are packaging, fertilisers, and pesticides (all made from petrochemicals, i.e. oil). If we don't think systemically and strategically about our food system and shifts towards sustainability, we won't decarbonise our food system, we'll just shift their stake in the game. Well worth a listen.... Great work TABLE and co 👍 https://lnkd.in/eh7hTNMr
