Sometimes, you think you know why you’re doing something—until an experience shows you so much more. That’s exactly what happened during our recent 7-day exhibition at Phoenix Palladium Mall, and to say the response was overwhelming would be an understatement. For the first time ever, we introduced our 5-minute O2WOW mask challenge—inviting people to try the mask on the spot. The idea was simple: let the results speak for themselves. And they did. Seeing people’s reactions—surprised, excited, and genuinely happy—was such a rewarding moment for us. Watching so many people light up as they see the results reinforces what we believe at BiE — real transformation is what builds trust. This exhibition gave us an opportunity to have real conversations. What made this exhibition even more meaningful was the insights we gained. Nearly 65-70% of people shared that their biggest concerns were skin brightening and achieving a more even tone. This kind of direct feedback is priceless— the kind that no campaign or ad can capture. This wasn’t just a brand awareness exercise for us. It was a chance to connect, listen, and learn. Post-pandemic, making those “IRL” connections feels rare and incredibly valuable. That’s why I was so excited to attend Longevityfest at the end of December, alongside 7,500+ leaders and innovators in the healthy aging space. Here’s what I love about these types of conferences: 1// Hands-On Experiences Sure, I can talk about the benefits of infrared all day, but nothing compares to letting someone feel and wear one of our products in real time. One attendee described infrared as “taking ancient wisdom and validating it through modern science” – and I couldn’t agree more! 2// Creative Synergies It’s inspiring to see the incredible innovations happening in this space. From infrared blankets and state-of-the-art massage chairs to devices designed to treat addiction and depression, the tech, brainpower, and energy behind helping us age better and live longer is simply fascinating. Moments like these spark new ideas and keep us nimble and ahead of the curve. 3// Genuine Connections As a hybrid company, we absolutely value the convenience of connecting online, but in-person interactions hit differently. Trade Talk: For Quirk’s Event speakers, change was in session "Our Quirk’s Events don’t have themes or tracks, which is by design, as it frees us up to present a wide range of topics and viewpoints without the need to shoehorn a session into a track that’s not a good fit...So that typically means that any post-event trends or themes that emerge do so organically. Two events into our 2024 slate, what has stood out to me from our Dallas (in February) and Chicago (in March) gatherings is the value – and, really, necessity – of being adaptable." 🫣 Wow! Is this really happening to me? I felt so jittery about speaking on stage at the Global International Women's Conference in Paris. I had to give myself a pep talk! What we feed our minds becomes our reality. I am quite self-critical, self-deprecating, undermining my abilities and it's taken me some time to realise my capabilities. I've discovered that I can excel at this. The audience enjoyed my speech, and once I started, my nerves dissipated. My focus was on advocating for the voiceless women and girls I work with, which fueled my confidence. So, my message today is: don't talk yourself out of it. Convince yourself that you're capable, repeating it until you truly believe it. Just observe what unfolds when you do. 😍 Eliminate phrases like "I can't," "I'll try," "I should," or "I would but..." from your vocabulary. And, yes, this is me, and I can thrive on stage.
