I’m a firm believer is seeing and getting a demo on the new tech out there. A couple reasons 1: you will see how the industry is moving 2: you may find your new tech stack to make you better and more efficient 3: you may learn you have the right tech stack just have to use it better 4: most important you will get the right tech and see that tech can help you focus on what’s most important, the people you are helping Use the tech and see the person

There's an old saying in tech, "the leader of the pack gets arrows in his ass". Sooooo true! Let me explain why this happens. Those people who pile in first with new tech often lose out, and there's a reason for this. When a disruptive new piece of tech arrives, the hype is significantly higher than the technical reality of what it actually does. Suppliers like it that way because it shifts more gear. People get excited but then when they start to use the new tech, they realise it doesn't do what they thought it would do, but by then they've already signed a 12-month deal. Tres decevant! Having been in the IT world since 1978, let me give you a piece of advice - do your homework before you sign on the dotted line. And with that in mind, I like to invite you to today's #MARShow at 12:15pm. Our guest will be Richard Caldicott who has forgotten more about rec tech than most people ever knew. We'll look at what there is, what should realistically be in your tech stack and how you can make the most of what you have. He’ll also be exposing some of the “future truths” about some of the tech on the market right now. You can learn more and get a reminder of when we go live right here: https://lnkd.in/eSCaUgWU Do you feel you're getting the most out of your tech stack?
