In an ideal world, Mitchell Goh envisions financial empowerment for all employees, through earned wage access across various industries, from the tech giants to the industrial SMEs. This is the noble philosophy that guides Goh’s work as CEO of workplace financial wellbeing platform GetPaid. Financial stress ought to be a thing of the past for employees, says Goh — employee wellbeing is the oft neglected key to success for today’s companies. In terms of ESG, businesses often focus far too much on climate gains and far too little on an equally important element: people.
