Does your IP provide you with #StrategicFlexibility? “Strategic flexibility is the capability of an organization to respond to major changes that take place in its external environment by committing the resources necessary to respond to those changes.” (divestopedia . com) In the upcoming #IPTechTuesday we discuss how the interaction of #IP with company #strategy can be seen through the lens of “strategic flexibility”, in particular, increasing time windows to perform actions and reducing costs. At the same time, this lens can be used to plan offensive activities against the competition. We will also discuss IP strategic flexibility – making your IP itself more flexible, and not only at the level of an individual #patent. part of an ongoing series (#IPTechTuesday, #TechTuesday) (with a live discussion) Recording: https://lnkd.in/erF3-tbf DM or email me (maier@ipatent.co.il) to join slides: https://lnkd.in/ekyHnunF #IPstrategy #patent #strategy

What the grawlix were you thinking when drafting that patent? More seriously, what tools of thought are useful for #IP work, especially #patent work? should you be focusing on analytical thinking? maybe creativity? You cannot sue for #patent #infringement if you are not aware of it! Some believe in the doctrine of #detectability- a patent claim has no value if you cannot detect it being infringed. But what if the infringement is done in secret? Signatures come to the rescue - they hint or prove that a secret process is actually making use of your valuable patent. In the upcoming #IPTechTuesday we see examples of signatures and consider that signatures are not only passive and not only for process patents. s/o to Gitay Kryger who recently said that "signatures convert process patent into product patents" Slides: https://lnkd.in/dFnu_fnv Recording: https://lnkd.in/dUpPqugs part of an ongoing series (#IPTechTuesday, #TechTuesday) (with a live discussion - pls join) recordings of earlier episodes: https://lnkd.in/d-vxFenV To join live event Tuesdays 14:30 UTC+3: https://lnkd.in/dyBjWbVB best to DM me or email me (maier@ipatent.co.il) #IPstrategy #ip #patent #strategy #ipsignature #tradesecret
