Our recent paper on THz imaging is featured in the July issue of the IEEE Transaction on Terahertz Science and Technology! The paper discusses using active THz imaging systems to see around obstacles (non-line-of-sight). Besides applications in radar imaging, this approach could be used in future wireless communication systems to enable NLoS localization services and improve channel estimation by mapping the surroundings.

Keysight Technologies' new solution overcomes this limitation, making flux-quantization accessible in a wider range of scenarios through convenient and less computationally intensive frequency-domain solvers. The XI International Symposium "Ultrafast Dynamics and Ultrafast Bandgap Photonics" is being held this week in the beautiful island of Crete, for the third year in a row, https://lnkd.in/eSrSfeKS I had the honor to start the conference with a plenary talk on how two-dimensional coherent nonlinear spectroscopy of superconductors allows for quantum tomography of light-controlled non-equilibrium states, with new breakthrough results, obtained in collaboration with Jigang Wang's experimental group at Ames Lab, on how a pulse-pair of intense Terahertz laser fields with controllable relative phase can image and induce light-controlled superconductivity. Having observed and controlled with a pulse-pair interference of different superconductor excitations, is room temperature light-induced superconductivity next?
