At a time when global trade dynamics are undergoing a profound transformation, reviving the historic Silk Road through modern initiatives is not just a tribute to our heritage, but also a bold step into the future. the New Silk Road book Initiative, inaugurated in The Hague in 2023 in collaboration with the City of The Hague and the embassies of the Middle Corridor countries — Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan in the Netherlands, has been instrumental in forging stronger cultural and economic connections across countries. This forward momentum is further supported by RVO's interest in developing the Middle Corridor, indicating significant growth in the international trade corridor industry. As part of an innovative partnership with the EBRD and the Dutch embassies in Astana, Baku and Tbilisi, RVO intends to organize an important webinar on the Middle Corridor. This virtual event, scheduled for Wednesday 13 March from 10:00 to 11:15 CET, aims to highlight the strategic importance and rapid progress associated with the Middle Corridor. A vital alternative amid the shifting sands of global politics, the route aims to transform traditional trade routes by capturing the spirit of the Silk Road in the digital age.
