College graduates are more likely to be employed, have health insurance, own a home, and earn a significantly higher income than their peers with only a high school diploma. However, access to a college degree remains inequitable. California’s economy depends on a well-educated workforce, and The Campaign’s research suggests the state may face a deficit of 1.65 million workers with college degrees and credentials by 2030. Through her work with the Campaign for College Opportunity, 2024 #IrvineAwards recipient Michele Siqueiros @mscollegeopp advocates to ensure equitable access and success in college. A VERY IMPORTANT REMINDER TO PARENTS WITH OVERAGE DEPENDENTS HEADING OFF TO SCHOOL THIS FALL As you prepare to send your child or children off to school this fall, it is crucial to review and update your benefits plan with the status of any over age dependents who are heading off to University or College, to ensure your children will remain covered by your benefits plan. Key Points to Remember to maintain coverage: • Ensure your over age dependents are enrolled as full-time students at a recognized educational institution, • Coverage will terminate for dependents who were previously registered as a full-time student after August 31st • Dependents turning 21 will have their coverage terminated the evening before their 21st birthday unless the continue their studies To avoid any interruptions in coverage, please update your student enrolments through your insurance carrier’s portal or if permitted, you may be able to provide the necessary details to your Plan Administrator. Let’s ensure that your dependents remain covered during this academic year. #BenefitPlans #Insurance #Coverage #BacktoSchool #University #College #MultiCareGroupofCompanies

Here's a tip for education planning for your child:🔥 If your current insurance coverage isn't sufficient and your child's education would be at risk in case something happens to you, you might want to consider getting a VUL policy, which offers both protection and investment. ✨ While it might provide a slightly lower return, it will safeguard your child's future against various life risks such as sickness, disability, or death. On the other hand, if you already have adequate insurance coverage, you can opt for a mutual fund or other investments that have the potential to offer higher returns. Remember not to rush into investments if your insurance coverage isn't yet sufficient, as it could risk your child's future. If you'd like to learn more about this, I'm here for a discussion! Feel free to send me a message! #educationplanning #financialplanning #childfuture #VUL #insurance #investing #mutualfunds #riskmanagement #peaceofmind #futureproofing #parenting #financialsecurity

Good Morning and Happy New Week. Today I want to highlight a few things on an education policy and pose a question to you as a parent. Education policies fall under life Insurance policies. They are majorly saving and protection plans. They are longterm , as they are structured to cater for future education expenses of your child. Now, the question I want to pose to you today is, If you don't set aside the monthly contribution of your child's education policy . Are you disciplined enough to set that money aside for 5, 10 ,15 years without touching it.? The 5,000 , 10,000 20,000 ; can you put it in an account , a money market fund without touching it for 10 years? We know emergencies come up, with family, friends . You wanna discuss this further? see how to set up the right plan in place, one you can service through all seasons of life. Talk to me on 0705804221 or DM me to engage further
