The relationships in this business are incredibly rewarding, and I’m so grateful for the time I spent with Alvin Shah this week in Atlanta. More so now many have lived through a time of often having to pay more to get less. ☀ To know that when the business they are invested in does well, so do they - as with no external shareholders to pay, profits are shared with its members. ☀ To know that they are a member of an organisation with purpose, that supports wider society. This refreshing alternative to the traditional Plc has been around for decades. However, a recent survey showed over 50% of UK Consumers don't understand what a Co-operative or Mutual is.
