En español en los comentarios 🤓 I've been diving into the 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 (𝗔𝗜𝗔𝗦) by Dr Mike Perkins, Jasper Roe, Dr. Jason MacVaugh, and Leon Furze in my courses and workshops, and it’s been a game-changer for nuanced conversations around AI in education. As a teacher educator, I find that 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲. I often receive questions about the “𝗵𝗼𝘄”—𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘥𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘶𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦, etc.—and I believe this tool effectively scaffolds the use of AI in our classrooms. 🎯I’ve tested and organized it as follows: • 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The AIAS encourages us to reflect on when to bring AI into teaching—and when to hold back—promoting intentional choices. If you haven’t explored it yet, I highly recommend reading about it and 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: https://lnkd.in/dtDhMMtT   • 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀: Today, we’re more than ever urged to “rethink and reimagine” our curricula, which sounds exciting but can also feel daunting. The AIAS provides practical guidance that respects the teachers’ autonomy. • 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: This scale is incredibly helpful for designing initial versions of rubrics aligned with the level of AI use, offering clarity and direction. It’s much easier to move from there to the desired outcome and goal! • 𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The AIAS sparks rich discussions around our pedagogical values and vision. I’ve created these discussion cards to get these conversations started—feel free to adapt and use them! 🧩Read about the AIAS here: https://lnkd.in/dFHW39Wk #AIinEducation #Education #Educación #InteligenciaArtificial #ArtificialIntelligence #TeacherEd #Teaching #Learning #Assessment #InstructionalDesign #DiseñoInstruccional
