[Global challenges] Very pleased to host today’s workshop in the frame of the International Research Project CHEMICY in partnership with Umeå University, Sweden and ISCR-Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes. Understanding the impact of climate change on the chemistry of water and soils is of the utmost importance today, and will be even more tomorrow. This event is great way for us to meet with highly experienced researchers around the world working on similar issues, share results and discuss new developments with international research groups. Whether it is through the training of our future engineers or research projects from our teams, our objective is to empower people to tackle the world’s global challenges - climate change first, along with its direct consequences on our planet, but also on our society as a whole.
