It's crucial for companies to not only review applications thoroughly but also to provide clear and constructive feedback, regardless of the decision. We all understand that hiring processes can be complex, but transparency and respect are essential. Each applicant invests time and effort into their application, and a response—be it acceptance or rejection—ensures a more positive and professional experience. Graphic Designer facing issues during their interview 1- Some employers seem unsure about what they're looking for in a designer. 2- They often lack knowledge about design software, leading to unrealistic demands. 3- There's confusion between graphic design and motion graphics roles. 4- Some employers mistakenly expect UI/UX design skills from graphic designers. 5- Asking for unpaid tests on branding or packaging projects is unfair and undervalues our time. It's a big red flag when employers don't respect a designer's time, especially considering the effort put into preparing portfolios for assessment.
