We watched: 'Reforming Research Assessment to Foster an Open and Socially Responsive Research Culture - CoARA' Excellent sessions! 🎉 #openscience [some takeaways 🔻] 👉 Colleagues are working on new ways to reform research assessment and new metrics that measure the 'value' of research. 👉 Bias in research discussed especially how younger researchers (ECRS) & researchers from developing countries and non-English speaking researchers are often overlooked. 👉 Conversations are starting!! What about #peerreview? This was touched upon too, and we note from discussions "Peer review, a cornerstone of scholarly evaluation, is undergoing a transformation.
