So I shared a conference tip I had about distilling your notes after a conference and taking you key takeaways and actions and putting them on 3x5 cards then vetting them with mentors, staff etc to see which ideas you should tackle! Here are my results! My conference experience was slightly different; it reminded me of my school days when I would allegedly skip class and hang out with my besties! This time, it is my new besties and old ones :) so, there are not as many notes as I normally have, but I will be distilling some key points over the next couple of weeks! My Cards: 1. Pre-Conference Master Mind with Steve Schwab, I will be 10Xing my listings! I have chosen two to start with and compare the old and new versions and see how they do. Then will keep doing more and more! The key takeaway was how do I make a 10X listing out of a basic property with no features!! Steve said, "Make it better than the other basic listings out there!" (something close to that paraphrasing) 2. David Angotti I have come up with my new favorite saying in regards to marketing and David, What Would David Do?? I have seen him 3 times in the last year and have yet to implement things he has thrown out there!! So this time, Greg and I will be implementing some tips Davis shared on increasing our brand! 3. Create a community for my guests?? This was a random thought that popped into my head during Nars Krishnamachari class. Excellent class, and the key takeaway for me is guests (besides us) don't check email while on vacation, so send more texts! 4. Create a system to email guests after departure that we didn't hear from during their stay to check in and see if we can get a review or feedback! 5.
