Why Thanksgiving Is My Favorite Holiday and What It Taught Me About Sales Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. There is something refreshingly simple about it: no religious affiliations, no presents, and no overwhelming expectations. It is just about gathering with friends and family, honoring traditions, and enjoying a good meal together. That simplicity and sense of connection remind me of what the best sales meetings should be like. No pressure, no obligation, no hidden agenda, just an open conversation. Of course, Thanksgiving is not always perfect. We have all been at the table when “that one uncle” brings up a controversial topic, and suddenly a peaceful meal turns into a battle of opinions. Handling objections in sales can feel the same. The key is to approach these moments with empathy and a focus on the bigger picture: maintaining harmony and moving forward together. Just like at Thanksgiving, the goal is not to win the argument but to ensure the partnership, whether family or client, remains strong. In sales, it is easy to fall into the trap of treating every meeting like a high-stakes pitch. But I have found that the most meaningful and productive meetings are the ones that focus on building a partnership. They are not about delivering a hard sell or overwhelming the client with add-ons they do not need. They are about understanding their needs, guiding them toward the best solution (which might just happen to be your product), and fostering trust for the long term. Just like a great Thanksgiving dinner, these meetings are about connection and collaboration. They are an opportunity to share ideas, explore options, and leave everyone feeling satisfied, not stuffed with something they did not really want or need. As we head into the holiday season, I am reflecting on the importance of genuine conversations and relationships in sales. Sometimes, the best way to sell is to step back and simply connect. What is one of your favorite “Thanksgiving-style” sales moments? Let’s celebrate the wins where trust and connection made all the difference. #Thanksgiving #Sales #Partnerships #CustomerRelationships

Give Thanks! We say it every day, but during this time of year, giving thanks to others goes a long way. Showing appreciation to your customers around Thanksgiving is a great way to build loyalty and strengthen relationships. Here are some thoughtful ways to express gratitude for their support in helping you grow your business. Handwritten Thank-You Cards. Sending personalized notes expressing appreciation adds a personal touch and shows how much you truly care. Don't have time to write a personal note for ALL your customers? How about a Thank-You video message? Break out that turkey costume and create a video. Showcase all your team members thanking customers for their support and sharing any year-end highlights. Invite your clients to participate in a Customer Appreciation event. Host an in-store or virtual event with exclusive perks, discounts, or giveaways. This is a great opportunity to thank them face-to-face for all their support! Hand out freebies or small gifts. Offer a free product or branded item with each purchase during Thanksgiving week. Make it something unique they can't find anywhere else so they can't stop talking about it over the holidays. A warm Thanksgiving message or a meaningful gesture can leave a lasting impression, helping you build goodwill with all of your customers. #givethanks #thankyou #thankyoucards #thankyouvideo #thankyoumessage #customerappreciation #freebies #giftbaskets #thanksgiving #mrxagency

Your customers deserve better (even if they don’t know it yet) Sometimes customers don’t even know what a good experience feels like. Why? - Because you haven’t given it to them yet - Because your competitors haven’t either - Because there’s no benchmark in the industry to show them what they’re missing. So, they settle. They’re okay with struggling just a little. They think “this is just how it is” Your product is good. Your competitors’ products are good. No one is arguing that. But let me ask you - What about the customers who don’t even know your product exists? What about the ones who will never fall in love with it because they never get the chance? If you’re happy serving the customers you already have and living in the comfort of their loyalty, fine. Your call. But if you want more for your business and your customers, it’s time to lead the way. ❌ Don’t wait for the industry to set the bar ✅ Create the best customer experience anyone has ever seen. An experience so fulfilling and exceptional, that your customers finally realize “this is what I’ve been missing” This Thanksgiving, be grateful for your customers. But don’t stop there. Take action. Make them grateful for you too. Happy thanksgiving :) 💛

Ever wondered why Santa always arrives in late December? Here's a Secret About Santa, You probably didn't know. Why the gifts, the feasts, and the festivities all come together at this specific time of the year? Is it just holiday tradition, or is there something deeper at play? Think about it—across the globe, December feels different. People seem more giving, merchants stock their shelves with anticipation, and there’s an air of abundance and celebration. But why does this happen? Why do we see a similar rhythm in other festivals, like Lohri in the North of India, Pongal and Onam in the South, Sankranti in the heart of India, or even Thanksgiving in the United States? Here’s a clue: these celebrations aren’t random. They’re tied to something much older and universal. Something that fuels joy, generosity, and even Santa’s sleigh. The answer lies in the cycles of the earth—and humanity’s age-old connection to the harvest. December marks the time when farmers reap the rewards of their hard work, workers are paid for their labour, and merchants see thriving trade. It’s a period of abundance when communities naturally come together to celebrate, share, and give. This is the same reason Santa “magically” appears bearing gifts. It’s not just myth; it’s timing. And just like these festivals, successful product launches thrive on understanding cycles, behaviours, and moments when people are most receptive. Curious how timing your moves like Santa can make a difference? Let’s dive deeper. #SecretSanta #ProductManagement #TimingMatters #userbehaviour #persona I am Varun Jain and I like simplifying complex problems to identify and explore opportunities for software products. #TheStartupDoctr

Whiskers the Cat found herself curled up on the couch, watching the family prepare for the big Thanksgiving dinner. The sweet smell of roasted turkey filled the air, and the sound of laughter echoed throughout the house. As the table was set, Whiskers couldn’t help but feel grateful for another year of family, food, and fun. But there was one thing missing... her spot at the table! Maybe next year, she thought.
