There’s hardly been a more tuned into voice for creativity hitting the mainstream than Rick Rubin since the release of his book, “The Creative Act,” last year. Squarespace’s latest collaboration featuring the visionary creator invites all to tetragrammaton – “an online world of curated materials – and a new website design, Transmission, to inspire your creativity.” The curated world of materials is also an echo of Rubin’s Podcast by the same name where he sits down with a variety of interesting guests from Marc Andreessen and Kenny Beats, to John Mayer and Paul Heyman. What I love about this as both a user of Squarespace and a fan of Rick Rubin since his work with Jay-Z, is how seamlessly his ethos for art and design translates given the tools Squarespace has made available. Squarespace is known for telling brilliant stories through their Ads (we’ve seen the Zendaya, Keanu Reeves, and Adam Driver masterpieces) and variety of short form content series seen on their YouTube channel. Pairing that skill with Rick Rubin’s ability to curate creative expression is a dream for who’s been inspired be either’s work. Tap in below to explore the collaboration and see the ways Rick Rubin translates digital spaces with “Tetragrammaton” and the way the new “Transmission” website design layout for Squarespace users channels a similar feel. #marketing #advertising #squarespace #rickrubin #collaborations #creativity
