It has been a very productive few days for my clinical research team. Here featuring our first publication on looking at the Real-World efficacy of Computer Assisted Diagnosis and characterisation (CADx) in identifying polyps which might one day assist endoscopist to be more confident to Resect-and-Discard, a means to reduce healthcare cost while still effectively reduce post colonoscopy colon cancer for our patients. This is also a proper foray into cross collaboration with the University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet) and the Center for Surgical Science (CSS), thanks to a good friend, Professor Ismail Gogenur. Kudos to young surgical trainees, Brittany and Gabrielle for getting this across the line promptly. Appreciate the SKH senior management (Eng Kiong Teo Pon Poh Hsu) along with Medtronic trust and support in the CO-PILOT study (A Comprehensive Review of the Impact of a COmPuter-aIded reaL-time pOlyp deTection System on Adult Colonoscopy (COPILOT Study) - a Single Institution Adoption Experience) (clinicaltrials.gov reference: NCT05822895) Sengkang General Hospital
