On Wednesday (November 20), the last of this year's SMB Knowledge Transfer 2024—traditional events for small and medium-sized IT businesses from the IT Ukraine Association—took place. The topics of the two main blocks of the rich program were ‘The Evolution of Sales: Modern Challenges for CEOs’ and ‘Capturing New Markets: Strategies and Approaches.’ 👥 Ihor Polych (CEO Devlight and Vice-President for International Cooperation of ITU) together with Olga Vysochenska (Product Manager at HootCore.io, IT Hoot) in a battle moderated by Maria Shevchuk (CEO #ITUkraineAssociation) debated the advantages and risks of outsourcing sales versus the approach of maintaining in-house teams. 🗣️ During a case study, Ihor Herasko (Head of Sales at Payoneer Україна) ‘Structure, Processes and Analytics in an Effective Sales Department’, shared key aspects of creating an efficient sales department. 🎤 In an interview, ‘Sales Evolution: from Services to Product Services,’ Volodymyr Sverediuk (CEO of Keruj) and Ismail Osbanov (CEO of Vector Media) explored the transformation from service-oriented businesses to product-service models. 🌎 Olga Gvozdyova (Advisor to the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office (Ukraine)), presented an in-depth analysis of the US IT market* with highlights on key trends, challenges, and opportunities for Ukrainian companies. *The research was developed by the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy program, the project "SME Policies and Institutions Support" (SMEPIS) commissioned by the IT Ukraine Association. ⚡ Taras Tymoshchuk (CEO & Founder Geniusee - Custom Software Product Development) and Anna Tushchenko (CEO JEVERA and CEO XME.digital) battled on the topic of ‘IT Opportunities Abroad: Solo vs. Part of a Delegation,’ moderated by Ievgeniia Bespalova 🇺🇦 (Head of Ecosystem, UNIT.City ). They outlined that the format of participation is determined by the company's goals, and the combination maximises the result. 💭 Ihor Polych (CEO of Devlight and Vice-President for International Cooperation of ITU) answered the questions posed by Ievgeniia Bespalova 🇺🇦 (Head of Ecosystem at UNIT.City ) in an interview, having shared his personal experience regarding crisis communications with clients, overcoming challenges and avoiding common mistakes in entering the global market.
