Thank you Igor Ryabenkiy. AI is no longer just a subject of study; it’s becoming an essential tool. We’ll see even more discoveries driven by AI as a method, not just something being researched. It’s amazing to watch this happen so fast by own eyes. The synergy of passionate founders combined with the real venture capital backing creates a powerful force that drives AI progress. Future is here: 24SIX9 Jamil Shinawi GearEx | Deep tech IIoT startup #AI #Science #MENAStartup #NobelPrize

The Nobel Prize is a fascinating indicator of how AI is impacting science and the world at large. Historically, there has been a long "Nobel Prize time gap" between a scientist's research and the award itself—often decades. But as AI accelerates research, that gap is likely to shrink. A great example is the Nobel Prize for protein structure prediction, awarded in 2024 for research published in Nature just a few years earlier, in 2021: https://lnkd.in/dnebKKjx AI is undoubtedly moving the world forward. It's already a powerful tool in most scientific fields, and it will accelerate breakthroughs even more. For my followers in the scientific community—please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong—it seems that in Geoffrey Hinton and John Hopfield's work, AI served as the subject of study, while in the protein structure research by the leaders of Google DeepMind and David Baker AI was more a method of the research. I believe that we'll soon see more breakthroughs where AI is not just a subject of study, but a tool, a method, or an assistant for scientific work. All of this is happening in front of our eyes—and much sooner than I expected. It's really mind-blowing! #NobelPrize #AI #Science
