Excited to share my new #researchpaper: "Implementing a sustainable process for the recovery of palladium from spent catalysts at industrial scale: a LCA approach," just published by the #JournalOfEnvironmentalManagement. This study marks a significant step forward in advancing #industrialscale implementation of #palladium #recovery. It provides valuable insights on the implementation of the #LifeCycleAssessment tool as an instrument to guide future decisions towards more #sustainable processes. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the other authors: Grazia Policastro, Marica Muscetta, Laura Clarizia, and Alessandra Cesaro. #LCA #MetalRecovery #Elsevier #Palladium #ProcessIntensification Read the paper here:

Our team's latest research published in Sustainable Materials and Technologies shows how we can upcycle waste materials like ashes into high-performance porous nanocarbon electrodes! By using metal/oxide particles in the waste as catalysts, we grew nanostructured carbon architectures via a facile synthesis route. This circular economy approach transforms abundant waste into valuable nanomaterials sustainably. Check out the open-access paper > https://lnkd.in/dRbsaNkA
