50 Years in Business – The IAA – International Trade Fair (Post 36 of 50) With less than two weeks to go to this year’s IAA TRANSPORTATION International Trade Fair, we are busy preparing for what has become Europe’s largest commercial vehicle exhibition. Maple is delighted to be exhibiting once again at the prestigious road transport event, taking place in Hannover between 17th – 22nd September. The IAA has over 125 years of history, developing over the years from a simple product show, to become a fully integrated trade fair, covering the entire value-added chain for mobility, transport and logistics. It is not just the show itself that has evolved during that time – so too has organised criminal activity, which continues to blight European supply chains. To meet this challenge, Maple work closely with operators to advance our own security offering, ensuring our product range meets the requirements of today’s modern logistics operators. Uniquely, our product portfolio caters for all commercial vehicle specifications and door types, including shutter door, barndoor, refrigerated bodies and panel vans, which we look forward to demonstrating in Germany. US President Joe Biden's official state visit to Germany underlines the importance of the USA as a close partner of Germany. This also applies to the German trade fair industry. Valuable partnerships, such as the one with the United States of America, contribute to the international success of Germany as a trade fair location - the world's No. 1. 🟣 In 2023, almost 4,300 exhibitors from the USA were guests at 125 German trade fairs. In addition, around 75,000 US visitors came to Germany this year. 🟣 German companies are also present at trade fairs in the USA: 28 German Pavilions are planned at trade fairs in the USA as part of the German government's foreign trade fair program in 2024. In 2025, as many as 35 German Pavilions will be represented under the umbrella brand “made in Germany”. 🔴 Trade fairs bring economy to life Welcome, Mr. President!
