Yesterday, we had the privilege of joining Wesgro for a transformative career development workshop, alongside their esteemed CEO Wrenelle Stander and CFO Sandiso Gcwabe CA(SA) Together, we focused on empowering young talent to navigate their careers for long-term success. The session was attended by a diverse group including interns, recent graduates from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and matric learners eager to learn from their peers. The event also provided a platform for unemployed youth and graduates to showcase their skills, discipline, and attitude. We are deeply grateful to Wrenelle, and Sandiso of Wesgro for their unwavering support and for prioritizing this initiative on Mandela Day. ☕Every month at ITPEnergised (part of SLR), we hold a 'Graduate Coffee Morning' where we have internal and external speakers join our graduates for an hour of inspiration and knowledge sharing. This month's Graduate Coffee Morning was a fantastic blend of inspiration and creativity! 🎨☕ Michael McKeown shared his insights on the importance of stepping out of comfort zones and being comfortable with making mistakes. But it wasn't all serious learning; the last 15 minutes of the session gave the graduates a chance to tap into their creative sides and have a little fun. Embracing our company value of curiosity, our graduates unleashed their imagination by designing their own unique monsters on Miro. It was a wonderful way to channel creativity, embody the spirit of innovation and get to know each other a little better. These gatherings are more than just meetings; they're a celebration of growth, learning, and the fun that comes with exploring new ideas.
