Exciting updates on our A.V.O.S innovation journey! 🚀 We've reached a major milestone with the successful testing of A.V.O.S 3, allowing total control over both umbilical end valves, seen here over 250m away at the end of the umbilical. This breakthrough eliminates the need for personnel in excavations and paves the way for many new opportunities. Another world first on a SIPP rig. 👍 🔹 A.V.O.S 1: Developed a decade ago to remove operatives from the launch excavation. 🔹 A.V.O.S 2: Last year's innovation, enabling stop / start control during lining. 🔹 A.V.O.S 3: Combining the benefits of 1 & 2, with added individual valve control via our advanced WERMS system. Not all PRVs are created equal. Choose the appropriate type for your application! There are two main types of pressure-reducing valves (PRVs) for steam: “direct acting” and “pilot operated.” Direct acting PRVs, smaller and more cost-effective than their counterparts, are suitable for applications with small load requirements. Pilot operated PRVs offer more precise pressure control and quicker response to changes in load, making them ideal for larger, fluctuating flow applications. For small load applications, such as sterilizers, unit heaters, humidifiers, and small process equipment, TLV’s DR20 direct acting PRVs are an excellent choice. For larger systems with varying flows, such as steam distribution piping, we recommend TLV’s COS or COSR pilot operated PRVs.
