I believe that the goal to reach a certain number of tourists, or to reach a minimum income from tourism, should not rest on the shoulders of the Ministry of Tourism alone! It is a goal that we should all cooperate to achieve. There must be a campaign not to attract tourists, but to accommodate them when they eventually come over. Starting from the street man, passing through all levels of the society, to the top officials, who deal with the individual tourist. What I hear from almost all those who had visited Egypt, they say that it’s a great country, but we will think twice before recommending it to others! Especially, those who come over individually, not in groups! They almost all complain about trivial matters that cost nothing to remove, but cause a lot of nuisance! I believe that root cause, is that we are not aware of the fact that it’s the duty of every Egyptian to do their part to make the visit of the tourist as pleasant as possible ! Individually and collectively. A campaign, on a national level, raising awareness of the benefits of tourism and the challenges facing that important industry, will be effective in increasing numbers, augmenting income and making the tourist himself our marketing agent elsewhere!

7moTotally agree and it’s a perfect analysis as usual.. moreover, each ministry must apply: 1-Free session/workshop/ seminar or webinar at its school, collage, or any organization to stay informed about best practices in tourism and customer service. 2-Participate in government programs and campaigns aimed at promoting tourism in summer course in practical way. 3-Pursue education and training in hospitality, tourism management, and related fields. 4-Participate in environmental conservation efforts to protect Egypt’s natural and archaeological sites. 5-Learn basic phrases in multiple languages to better communicate with international tourists. 6-Encourage and support language education initiatives that improve the overall ability of citizens to engage with visitors. In simple way, prepare local tour guide with temporary liscence with limited time. By actively participating in these ways, Egyptian citizens can help create a welcoming and attractive environment for tourists, thereby supporting the country’s tourism strategies and contributing to economic growth.
