Traditionally Architectural design is conditioned by local environmental conditions, available resources, culture, and users' needs. Contemporary architecture instead, often follows trends, essential construction requirements, and commercial needs of the moment, not necessarily paying attention to the bigger picture or context. The result is a quickly aging and expensive to-maintain asset that sits in the humanized landscape, without creating valuable connections around itself. Often the answers are hidden in plain sight, in the heritage and traditional buildings and gardens around us. We can and need to go back to a more sensitive design approach that goes beyond the basic requirements and checklists. Principles, References, and clarifications in the post below: https://lnkd.in/gjt28aug

Think of it like a flashlight in a dark room—focus on what matters. Guide the viewer’s eye to where your project truly shines. ---- If you want to show the Full Story of Your Design, Forma Studio has you covered.

From an architect's perspective, a box can represent more than just a simple geometric shape. It can symbolize various architectural concepts such as enclosure, containment, or spatial organization. Architects often use terminology that reflects the intended purpose or design intent of a particular structure. For example, they might refer to a "volume" to emphasize its three-dimensional aspect or a "module" to highlight its modular design. By using different terms, architects can convey specific meanings and evoke certain associations related to their design vision. #ArchitectureDesign, #ArchitecturalInspiration, #ModernArchitecture, #UrbanDesign, #ArchitectsOfInstagram, #BuildingDesign, #SustainableArchitecture, #InteriorArchitecture, #StructuralDesign, #ArchitecturalPhotography
