More Creative less Profits? Many talented filmmakers often struggle financially despite their significant contributions to the industry. One primary reason for this is the high cost of production, which includes equipment, locations, and paying cast and crew. Additionally, the market is highly competitive, making it difficult for new or independent creators to secure sufficient funding or distribution deals. Furthermore, revenue from film projects is often unpredictable and can be affected by factors like marketing, audience reception, and distribution channels. Understanding these challenges can help aspiring filmmakers better navigate the financial aspects of their careers. #FilmmakingChallenges #IndependentFilm #FilmIndustry #CreativeStruggles #SupportIndieFilm #FilmProduction

It can be very worrying that filmmakers do not recognise the value in coming together to develop a platform that provides unlimited opportunities for economic participation within the global creative space. It is worrying that artists and musicians cannot see value in creating a market for their skills and talents. Sometimes there needs to be a realisation that television is a private business. It's not a platform to establish a working film industry, and neither is it a platform to reflect a film industry. That requires collaboration and effort from content creators. The rise of Hollywood after the collapse of the film industry in America, didn't take unlimited commissioning opportunities by television. It took filmmakers who created value that attracted investment from banks, enabling what would later be the biggest film industry in the world. Yes films need funding, but people need to learn to work together and prioritise the common goal of a successful establishment. When talent is merged, the outcome is unimaginable.

Are we filmmakers or just 'short filmmakers'? It’s time to break the label! Body: A new wave of short films—ranging from 5 to 55 minutes—is sweeping across YouTube and digital platforms. These films often find a small window of recognition through film festivals, but the challenge is clear: the acknowledgment stays limited to the "short filmmaker" tag. If we continue making only short films, we risk staying confined to this label. But what if we unite as a community of creators? What if we come together to make something bigger, something powerful that breaks through the boundaries and challenges the industry? Unity is the answer. Think bigger, do bigger. Let’s create a film that not only resonates with audiences but redefines how the world sees us. It’s time to step beyond short-form content and prove that our talent can go far beyond 55 minutes. Together, we can shape a new future for ourselves! #UniteForImpact #ThinkBigDoBigger #FilmmakersUnite #BeyondShortFilms #BreakTheLabel #CreateChange #FilmCommunity #FilmFestivals #FilmmakingEvolution #ProductionHouse
