A slight departure from my typical "trench safety" posts to share a very impactful video with everyone. If this doesn't impact the way you think about your driving habits, not sure what will. We can all do better to preserve life, maybe even your own. #safetystandup #sunbeltrentals #safedriving #drivesafe https://lnkd.in/ghPgGg9M

Feeling Stuck with Your Horse? Here’s How to Simplify & Make Progress. If you’re struggling with one part of your riding, it can quickly seem like every part of your training has issues. But often, it’s not about adding more techniques; it’s about simplifying each movement into its most basic parts. By isolating and refining each step, you and your horse can achieve smoother, more balanced movements—without the frustration. 🎯 ✨ Start by setting clear, manageable goals. Every ride, focus on one small element of your long-term goal. For example, work a little on collection each day, rather than trying to climb the “dressage pyramid” all at once. You’ll see progress when you teach each part individually, perfect it, and then combine them. 🌟 When a problem arises—like a tricky lead change or challenging trot work—it often signals a fundamental skill that needs strengthening. Instead of pushing through, break the movement down. Does your horse need more shoulder mobility? Or perhaps better rhythm and relaxation? Addressing these small areas individually can have a huge impact on your overall performance. Embrace the process, celebrate each small improvement, and watch how “complicated” movements become second nature! 💪 #EquusEnlightened #ComeRideWithMePodcast #HorseTrainingTips #DressageBasics #EquestrianEducation #CompassionateTraining #HorseDevelopment https://lnkd.in/e9zmDwyp

🌟 Are you ready to go? Are you ready to pack? 🌟 Personally, I’m not the best at packing. In fact, if packing were an Olympic sport, I’d be the person tripping over my suitcase and losing the medal. 🧳 But hey, we can’t all be perfect! Here are some tips that have saved me from packing disasters: 1. **Make a Checklist:** Because who hasn’t ended up on vacation with seven shirts and no pants? 2. **Roll Your Clothes:** It’s like making little clothing burritos. Plus, you’ll fit more in! 3. **Pack Smart:** Put heavier items at the bottom and lighter items on top. And remember, shoes make great storage for socks. Who knew? 4. **Use Packing Cubes:** These are like drawers for your suitcase. Keeps everything neat and tidy… until you need that one thing at the bottom. 5. **Keep Essentials Handy:** Always have a small bag for essentials like your passport, tickets, and phone charger. Trust me, digging for these at the airport is not a good look. Let’s laugh over our packing fails and share more tips together! And if you’re up for it, we can talk more over an English lesson.
