Dear Exhibitors, Your event stand’s design doesn’t just include 👇🏻 - Your choice of colour - Which elements will be dynamic - How to make your event space more interactive It also includes 👇🏻 - The structure’s integrity - Your plan for incorporating designated spaces to hide cables and clear the floor - Your ability to create an accessible space for ALL visitors Don’t get me wrong, one of our favourite parts of every project is the creativity of making unique event stands. But creating a successful space doesn’t just happen by solely relying on your creativity. Does your event space need seating? Here’s how I would answer it👇🏻 The short answer → it completely depends on your goals and expectations. The longer answer ↓ One of the first things businesses automatically add to their space is tables and chairs, but it might actually be pushing you further away from your goals. After all, before you add everything but the kitchen sink to your stand, you need to answer these questions: - Does adding seating put unnecessary pressure on our target audience? - Is adding seating going to match the overall energy of the event? - Will our event space still be accessible if we add extra furniture? - Will adding seating align with our ideal outcome? When done correctly, seating can be a great way to build authentic connections and encourage value-driven discussions. But not every seating arrangement is created equally, and it doesn’t take a lot before your event space becomes chaotic and potentially dangerous. When you work with the experts, you’re guaranteed a finished design that captures attention and converts interest into lasting impact. Interested in learning more about our research-driven design process? DM me today and let’s chat 🙌🏻 P.S. Not to brag, but this is what seating done correctly looks like. When it comes to branding, the little details count. Take colours, for example. The colour blue is a versatile and widely appreciated colour that evokes a range of emotions, which are in stark contrast to each other. For example, some report blue as evoking a sense of calmness and tranquility, reminiscent of the sky and ocean. This explains why generally blue is popular in bedrooms and bathrooms. However, blue can also be linked to feelings of sadness and melancholy, hence the expression "feeling blue". Blue can also be stimulating for the mind, encouraging creativity and inspiration. It's a colour often found in artistic spaces and environments designed to foster innovation. Therefore, it's really important you work with a partner that considers and advises all aspects of branding before creating a solution that represents your business in the best possible light. At Reade, we follow a consultancy-led approach with any projects, ensuring our clients are advised, informed and engaged throughout. If you have a requirement for anything from wayfinding to hoarding to office signage, and require expert advice, don't hesitate to contact us: ✉️ enquiry@readesigns.com 📞 01252 336000 #branding #signage #solutions

If you’ve considered having a temporary structure created for your event, you may think your options are limited. https://lnkd.in/d9sSY92j Many structures are built from standardised pieces which, in theory, could limit the creativity and flexibility of the design. Many people don’t think you can have a more inventive option – but the truth is, you can. At Worldwide Structures, our Space Building System™ allows you to specify the shape, size and functionality you want for your structure – and then let us do the rest. If you're curious about the requirements for entering the Canadian Event Awards, here are the Best Event Design/Décor criteria: $50,000 - $150,000. Enter today Decor and design help create the event’s atmosphere, look, and feel. Well-executed decor and design can contribute to the event’s success by making guests feel more comfortable and setting the tone for the experience. This category requires the budget to be between $50,000 and $150,000 (before taxes) and not include sponsored elements if they exceed the budget limit. Judging Criteria: In this category, we will evaluate the logistical aspects of planning and executing the design, the innovative and creative elements employed to tackle challenges, originality, use of colour, visual appeal, composition, and proportion. Additionally, sustainability practices, accessibility and inclusivity considerations, thematic integration, design complexity, the role of lighting (if applicable), effective budget allocation, and the “WOW factor” that leaves a lasting impression on attendees are key criteria. Participants are encouraged to provide clear images, optional videos for visual context, and a detailed budget breakdown to showcase their creative and budgetary prowess. Videos: While not mandatory, videos are recommended to provide visual context and highlights of the event, showcasing key moments and the overall atmosphere. Sometimes, the most striking and effective display ideas stem from the simplest concepts. Take, for example, the use of a slightly thicker ribbon for balloon arrangements. This subtle yet impactful change is a remarkably cost-effective way to elevate your event décor and create a more memorable visual experience. When designing for any event, it’s essential to think creatively and look for ways to enhance the standard elements. Rather than settling for a conventional approach, ask yourself: How can I refine or modify existing décor to make it unique and more engaging for this particular event? Even small adjustments, like upgrading a ribbon or incorporating unexpected details, can make a world of difference in setting your event apart. By approaching event design with this mindset—always looking for opportunities to elevate and differentiate—you can ensure that your displays not only meet expectations but exceed them. It’s these thoughtful, small changes that often have the greatest impact on the overall atmosphere and guest experience. #eventplanner #eventplanningaz #eventplanning #eventplanningtips #corporateevents #corporateplanner #corporateplanning #weddingplanning #weddingplanner #eventtips #drinks #eventcocktails #workconference #businessconference #weddingsandevents #businessmeetings #weddingplanning #eventplanners #azevents #azdj #djaz #corporateDJ #weddingdj #eventmusic #networking

As an event attendee, you don’t appreciate good lighting until it’s missing. And as someone with 16+ years in the events industry, I’ve seen first-hand the impact that the right lighting brings. After all, lighting isn’t just about illumination. It’s also about: - Guiding your audience’s eyes through your event space. - Using warm/cool tones to match your event stand’s energy. - Standing out in an event hall full of harsh overhead lighting. When you incorporate lighting that naturally compliments your space, it invites your audience in and makes them feel more comfortable, allowing you to build genuine connections. Consider this your reminder that brighter isn’t always better, and every design decision needs to be approached with intention. P.S. We're now taking clients for the end of the year, so if you need our support for your next event, shoot me a DM! #branding #lighting #events #tradeshows #exhibitions #design
