Greatful to serve as the Board Chair for such an active and involved “community profit” company called Pro-Se Potential. One of our community outreach events was featured on the Back to Besa show with FOX news capture by the ever active Converge Media Team. Check it out in the link below. Our mission is to help our youth outperform their current environments. While we have a wide reach a majority of our children and families exist in King and Pierce Counties. If you want to get involved we have a Gala coming up November 2nd. Contact me for details. How do we heal a nation? Listen to the needs of the states. How do we heal the states? Listen to the needs of the counties And the counties? Listen to the needs of the cities And how do we heal the cities? Listen to the needs of the families. And how do we shape a better future? Listen to needs of the children and serve. https://lnkd.in/dgSxPkVX

"At Market Lane, we’re proud supporters of Children's Ground, a bold not-for-profit organisation that is advocating and making change for a brighter future with, and for, First Nations children, families and communities. There are several ways that we walk with Children's Ground. We’ll summarise these here to hopefully inform and inspire individuals and businesses wanting to develop a meaningful connection and partnership with Children’s Ground and/or other likeminded First Nations organisations, but perhaps unsure where to start." https://lnkd.in/gP7tHMS6

In honor of Family Day here are some great tips on how to make your Fundraising events fun for the whole family!
In honor of Family Day we here at Sentinel Consulting want to tackle a fun subject! How to make our fundraising events fun for all ages. We have all been the person in charge of looking after a kid at an adult event and boy do they get bored fast! While we can enjoy a bit of witty repartee around a gala table or a nice walk/run through the city, what engages kids is completely different. By choosing events that can be tailored to kids or adjusted to have kid-friendly areas we make the event more accessible to those with young children in their lives. But even more than that we allow for different forms of community to be built at and around the event. As parents get help entertaining their kids for an evening, we get a chance to share some age-appropriate understanding about our mission and to excite the next generation about what they are capable of! Check out this article on some ideas on how to make your event fun for all ages: https://lnkd.in/gmU3NRwZ

In 2019 and 2020, Mission Partners served as the messaging and communications partner for NewsMatch—the largest grassroots fundraising campaign designed to support nonprofit news in the U.S. Through research, collaborative strategizing, and community listening, their fundraising goals exceeded the years prior despite the pandemic and politically charged attacks on the free press.
