Over the last three months, the Elite Athletes Management Group partnered up with AMB AMBITION® on a social media campaign with Phoenix Sproles to help drive brand awareness and equity. The campaign consisted of three posts: a workout video, a story telling video, and a giveaway video to drive sales conversion. We decided to build up hype around the brand, creating rapport within the community, before making any call to action. The giveaway campaign was simple. For every $1 spent on the website during the month of May, customers received 1 entry. In order to pay it forward, 10% of sales will go back to Phoenix’s high school football program to improve equipment and facilities. 🌟 The Power of Social Media & Its Fascinating Algorithm 🌟 For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of helping the Heritage Hills Golf Resort team manage and grow its social media presence, particularly on the golf side of the business. It’s been an amazing journey, and this past weekend, I witnessed firsthand just how powerful and unpredictable social media can be. Back on June 13, I posted a video that was lighthearted and funny, showcasing what might just be “the greatest golf shot of all time.” It received some engagement initially, but this past weekend, it absolutely exploded! The post gained over 500k+ views this past weekend, months after my original post, skyrocketing to 601K plays as of now. All it took was one person sharing and commenting to set off a chain reaction, catapulting it into the viral zone. This experience has reminded me just how incredible (and mysterious) social media algorithms can be. Sometimes, it only takes one person interacting with a post for it to reach a much wider audience. The algorithm picks up on that engagement, starts pushing the content out to more people, and before you know it, it’s viral! It’s exciting to see the work we put into social media have such a broad reach.
