This week, our team used a reflective tool. We shared our: 💡 Highlights – What’s been going well. 🤔 Headaches – Current challenges. 🔭 Horizon – What’s coming up. It was such a simple yet impactful exercise. We uncovered shared challenges (hello, long to-do lists! 📝) and celebrated some fantastic wins (like our shiny new newsletter – have you signed up yet? It’s fab!). What stood out most was how this reflection helped us see the bigger picture of how each of us contributes to Healthwatch Nottingham & Nottinghamshire in our own unique ways. Making time for reflection revealed things we didn’t even know we didn’t know. It created space for understanding, connection, and identifying where support is needed – a reminder that reflective thinking is essential for any thriving team. It’s been absolutely brilliant working with Allyson Glover and Happy Business, really enjoying our sessions together and getting our “strategic heads” on and planning for the future of L&T. We’ve always known that spending time on our business rather than in it was important, but it’s great to spend some dedicated time with Ally really focusing on areas we sometimes don’t give enough attention to.
