F&B IS CENTER STAGE
While every facet of a club has a direct impact on those members utilizing that particular department at any given time, Food & Beverage operations represent the only place where 100% of the membership is served. Not all members golf, play tennis, visit the spa, shoot skeet, go to yoga, swim, or attend club events. However, all members do indeed eat and drink.
All departments are “Mission Critical!” But, it must be acknowledged that the F&B department is the most visible, utilized, and oftentimes most scrutinized area of the entire club. Turn this fact into your advantage! Look upon this as great news!
The entire leadership team must, at every appropriate opportunity, share the news of the club’s great Food & Beverage program focusing on quality and service. This is the area where the greatest return on investment can be leveraged toward: Increasing retention levels — Encouraging guests — Creating new member referrals.
Dining at the club is a personal experience.
