Out of G7 countries, labor cost is quite low and farmers normally have great interest and endeavor to do many things on their own not just to cut down on the production cost but in fact to gain knowledge and the pride in proving themselves. We stay very close to ASEAN farmers then surely understand this interest. Therefore, we do NOT sell Protein Skimmer in low-labor-cost countries. Instead, we guided anyone who is patient, persistent and perserverent: - Reading 5 to 10 times all public documents from reputable manufacturers of industrial-grade protein skimmers. - Daring to spend some cost on equipment and tools (PVC pipes, pvc welding gun etc...) All Protein Skimmers that we guided look very simple and dirty from the outside as they fit to purpose and still need further improvement on tidiness and professionalism. But from the inside , these skimmers are professional and strict. We discuss about: - Contact time - Coagulation - ORP, Total Vibrio - TSS, TD - How/when/where to operate a Skimmer - What is the difference in structure of the skimmer for Freshwater and Saltwater. ....many things. Our team was assigned to a palm kennel oil processing site at New Atoabo,Tarkwa. Where we had experience in the production and extraction of palm kennel oil but after the extraction of the oil, we realized some of the residue were been accumulated in the extracted oil thereby reducing not just the oil purity but also compromised its market value and usability. We then took it upon ourselves to help enhance the purity and market value of the oil by sieving. We suggested the use cotton mesh and stainless steel sieve but to get the most suitable one, an experiment was conducted. - The cotton mesh acheived 51% residue - The stainless steel sieve also achieved 49% residue. One would recommend the cotton mesh because it was able to collect many of the residue but based on experimental findings, we recommended the use of the stainless steel sieve for their durability and thermal resistance to enhancing the purity and high quality of extraction. #PalmKennelOilProcessing #ChemicalEngineering #HighQuality #TeamWork
