I put this piece together recently for our website. It's based around the frequent discussions we're having with construction industry leaders regarding their struggles bringing new construction contracts to fruition under the 2 stage model. I'd welcome your thoughts! #constructionindustry
Useful read and a great summary Jamie Porter. Thanks for sharing.

9moGreat article Jamie, from my experience all types of Contracts are "sliding to the right" with protracted pre-contract and pre-construction hoops to jump through of one kind or another. Funding is probably the biggest issue, with Clients getting budgets agreed on costs which are at least 6 months out of date and then having to plug the hole or go back cap in hand. There are some big deadlines looming for some (2030 being the most prominent) and some huge projects to deliver before then, which are still in the planning/pre-approval stage, so it's going to be a fun and busy few years!
