🛑 My team knows I tend to disappear sometimes. There are certain hours of the day when I’m "busy" on Slack, and it’s not just because I’m drowning in work. So, why do I go silent? 🤐 I’ve figured out that time blocking is my secret to staying on top of things. I used to hate those days when I’d put in tons of hours but still felt like I hadn’t really accomplished anything important. If this sounds relatable, time blocking could be your solution too! Here's how I make sure I'm effectively blocking my time: ✔️ I break my day into specific blocks of time, each dedicated to different tasks. ✔️ I tackle my toughest or most important tasks when I know I’m at my best. ✔️ I make sure to include breaks, so I don’t burn out. ✔️ And I stay committed to whatever task I focus on during each block. I just wrapped up my full series of quick productivity hacks in bite-sized videos! You can check them all out on my YouTube channel, You Know Ted 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gEaik3vT 🔗 What are your go-to productivity hacks? Have you tried any from my series? Let’s swap some valuable tips—I’d love to hear what works for you! #YouKnowTed #ProductivityHacks #TimeBlocking #Efficiency

The average time between interruptions in the corporate world is 11 minutes. It's hard to get any deep work done in 11 minutes. Protect your time by creating 60-90 flow blocks to focus on strategic work. Shut off all notifications, put your phone away, and let your team know when you will be back. Batch process all the other operational stuff - email, Slack responses, administrative tasks, etc. Process them at a time that is best suited to your chronotype. At the end of every day (and in situ), reorder your backlog for the next day. Two flow blocks per day and you will outperform your distracted competitors. #bewell #prioritize #deepwork

Do you ever feel like your to-do list is longer than your favorite novel? You're not alone. On today's #TuesdayTip, Taylor talks "time blocking". 🕒 🔑 How it works: Set specific blocks of time for key tasks. Focus on deep work, meetings, or even that endless inbox. Think of it as a "playdate with productivity." 💡 Challenge for you This week, block off 1 hour daily for a task you never get to finish. Guard that time like your coffee (or tea) depends on it. ☕ #TimeBlocking #ProductivityTips #WorkSmarter

🚨 Pro Tip: The real “ping” you should be worried about isn’t from Slack—it’s from your phone telling you you’ve been on “Do Not Disturb” for too long. 📱🚫 Let’s be honest: we all need breaks. Just don’t forget to hit “unmute” when it’s time to work. 😎 #WorkLifeBalance #TechTips #FocusMode #ProductivityHacks
