We think a lot about goals during our building years, but they are just as vital during our investing years of retirement. Without goals, we can feel adrift, and sure to miss our best intentions. US News lists six common goals during retirement: set a retirement budget, plan a milestone event, prioritize wellness, discover new interests, rethink your residence, leave a legacy. Since my husband’s retirement, we have had fun thinking and dreaming about some of these. He recently got back from an East Coast Baseball Stadium Tour where they saw 5 games in 5 different stadiums/states in 6 days. We have a map on our wall with a goal to visit every major league baseball stadium in America. It is good to have some “Fun” goals in retirement! More important than this goal; however, is that God finds us obedient to Him and walking in step with Him on this earth until we can be with Him in eternity. God’s goal is that not one person would perish, and He needs our help to accomplish this goal. We need to be His witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and every baseball stadium or wherever we go. But we have to be intentional…or we will miss this goal. #act3ministry #fightthefade #followyourstar #findyourplace

New York has been an incredible stage for life's grand performance - from the bustle of Brooklyn's streets to the historic charms of Nassau County. Yet, as the curtains close on the active years of work, many New Yorkers dream of a quieter, more affordable setting for their retirement encore. Looking for tranquility without the hefty price tag of the Big Apple? 🍎 Here are the top destinations that beckon with open arms: 1️⃣ Asheville, North Carolina - a haven for retirees seeking an artistic community amidst the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. 2️⃣ Sarasota, Florida - sun-soaked beaches, without the sun-soaked cost, perfect for those who adore the ocean’s whisper. 3️⃣ Ann Arbor, Michigan - where cultural vibrancy meets Midwestern charm, a college town with a retiree-friendly pace. 4️⃣ Austin, Texas - offering an eclectic scene with a slower pace of life and a warm welcome for all ages. As a real estate professional specialized in aiding retirees to sell their precious New York homes and secure their dream retirement abode, I've guided many through this transition. The key to a seamless shift? Planning, patience, and a bit of heart. ❤️ Retirees, what's on your wish list for your post-NY paradise? Let’s jog through your dreams and make them a reality. #RetirementLiving #RealEstate #NewBeginnings #Relocation

Feeling too young to be an “empty nester”?? 🤔 Whelp, maybe we need to coin a new term for this stage of life… The one where your kids are graduated from high school and college and living on their own BUT… You still want to have space for them and their potential significant others when they come to visit. 🏡You just want…less space and lower maintenance. Maybe swap out the private pool for a neighborhood pool. Go from nearly half an acre to something small…more xeriscaping, less lawn mowing. But you’re not ready to move into a retirement community. In fact, you’re not ready to retire (yet)! 🌿 You’re kind of like a, well, a half-empty nester. Anyone have a good term for this that I can start using? 🤷♀️ #georgetowntx #GeorgetownTXHomes #GeorgetownRealEstate #GeorgetownTXLiving #GeorgetownTXProperties #GeorgetownTXCommunity #GeorgetownTXNeighborhoods #GeorgetownTXHomeSearch

2025 is going to be an interesting year for the Players.....It could go in a few different directions..... Maria and i have been discussing for the last 3 months straight. Selling what we have in the top of logan and moving. Our current place has served its purpose for wealth building. Now raising kids, being in a safer area and focusing on outside play and how i grew up for my kids is a focus now. We could be moving back to NSW - South west rock / Vincentia / Mollymook are high on our radar. I grew up going to the south NSW coast for holidays. Or stay in Brissy and move to a more affluent suburb Spring hill to Cornubia. Or closer to my parents Wellington point to Victoria point. Or i maybe pulled back to #Sydney due to business. Most likely target the Sutherland Shire where i grew up. Either way the above will be exciting and we welcome the change. Preferably we want out of #Brisbane. The only reason to stay here is family. The roads are better. We have lovely neighbors. We have so many different shops options. Its like Taren point and Miranda where we live. But having a son and not being able to walk out our front gate to the park. We dont like the heat. Needing a barking dog and security screens. Not feeling safe at home and in a lot of areas. Not being able to go to the local shops past 4pm. 3rd week we came here a druggie was holding a boat flare to the neighbor electric box to blow the house up. Sparks everywhere. Thats how i met all the neighbors men. Outside my house at 10pm at night. They all came running. Avoiding half of the areas close by all together. Is not a place to raise a child. We went to south west rocks for a holiday recently and it was our sons first time at the beach. 8 months and it took that long. That is how i grew up. Outside. So what ever decision we make and most likely will try for a 2nd child next year a safer place to raise kids outside is an absolute must. We will most likely rent. Try and find something for 500-600 in the beach regions or 700-900 per week if were back in Sydney. Invest 90% of it. Live off 160-200k in dividends + what comes in via work. Continue investing. Gotta keep building that Player Dynasty. #playerlife
