I recently commented on Dominic Church's article on Deal Leadership, but it's worth a repost. The crux of his message is that #sales organizations must evolve from "deal management" to "deal leadership" in order to stay relevant. But his article also supports my own soapbox message: 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫/𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩" 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦. He states that effective deal leaders... ✅ Develop an understanding of others' needs to identify solutions ✅ Proactively identify potential challenges ✅ Gather relevant information from a variety of perspectives ✅ Build trust and take ownership of outcomes ✅ Problem-solve in collaboration with other stakeholders ✅ Adapt approaches to address unique needs ✅ Deepen relationships ✅ Embrace learning and professional growth Guess what?
