If you're an HR or benefits leader, you know how challenging it is to differentiate yourself from other companies competing for talent. How do you stand out? Below is a snapshot of our key takeaways for your quick review: ◼ Professionals believe staying in their current role with a guaranteed pay check is safer than finding a new opportunity. This may result in losing out on career growth, a better work-life balance or a healthier work culture. ◼ Research reveals that the rate of employees wanting to leave their role but staying is higher than the number of those who actually leave, resulting in lack of motivation in the workplace. ◼ Growing redundancy rates have implemented fear in employees, causing them to go "above and beyond their minimum job requirements" as a form of protection. We scratched the statistical surface and found UK employee sentiment reveals a workforce in a right mess! 70% are actively seeking a new job! 47% are fed up with their pay! 20% are burned out! That's 137% BAD!!! Ok, a mere 17% reporting any fondness (forget love) for their current job and only 10% are actually "engaged". WOW!
