Dahod: The construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is ongoing, with packages 26 to 31 falling under the Dahod to Vadodara segment. In previous updates, we discussed packages 27 to 31. In this latest update, recent information from vloggers and on-site footage regarding Package 26, which stretches from Bhimpura village (Dahod district) to the state border between Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Based on the visuals, it appears that this last package in Gujarat is likely to take over a year to complete.
Package 26 is approximately 30 km long, starting at Bhimpura village in Dahod district and ending near the Anas river at the Gujarat-MP state border. At the beginning of the package, a village road crosses, and the overpass construction is pending. As we proceed ahead, a long viaduct is being constructed as a river lies in the path of the expressway. On one side of the viaduct, girder erection work is complete, while on the other side, pier construction work is underway. Moving ahead, hill-cutting work is being carried out in the hilly region, though most of the work is still pending. After crossing the hill, bitumen laying is happening in small patches (around 1-2 km) due to ongoing work on several structures in this alignment.

Next is the Limdi Interchange, which is being built on NH 48. The toll structure work on this interchange is complete, and bitumen laying is also complete on the main alignment, but the work on the entry and exit roads is still pending.

Further ahead, bitumen laying on the road is mostly complete until Gultora village (Jhalod taluka of Dohad dist.), where a viaduct is being built, and girder erection work is underway. Moving ahead, bitumen laying is complete on most of the part, with finishing work left.
Near the Chakliya-Dahod road crossing, an overpass is being built with the pier cap complete, but girder erection is pending. Just before the Anas river, Package 26 ends. Compared to other packages in the Vadodara to Dahod segment of the expressway, not much work has been completed on Package 26. This can be attributed to the uneven alignment and the large number of structures being built to make the road steady and even.
it will take at least one more year to be ready. This was the last package in Gujarat, and after the Anas river, the expressway is completed all the way to the Mukundra Hills tunnel in Rajasthan
