Here’s a video I recorded today which shows exactly what can happen when intersections are not equipped with TOMAR’s IC EVP System. With costs as low as $6,000 for a complete intersection and only $800 per vehicle it’s surprising how many agencies still do not use this life saving technology. Strobecom emitters are capable of sending a signal from 2,500 feet so that emergency responders will receive a green light in the direction they are heading and other drivers will receive a red light in all opposing directions. This will reduce emergency response times while also increasing everyone’s safety.

Agreed, but just curious why the driver chose the left lane to go straight? There was an open right lane and statistically you are more likely to get a right lane open especially with right on red.
