Heres my thoughts on this one! This house clearly used to be a single family house, it looks like it was converted properly to a 2 unit though many years ago. The large attic space attaches to the top floor apartment which is a big selling point as it can be used for storage space or maybe even a makeshift extra bedroom, it just can’t technically be considered living space as there’s only 1 way to leave. The original staircase is another touch that shows this used to be a single family and though I didn’t show it in the video there was some stained glass in the house too. As you guys know I love front porches so this was a big plus, and the parking pad had newer concrete too. All in all there’s some solid features here, I will say I’m not as big of a fan of the dropped ceilings but those can actually be swapped out to more appealing tiles if you’d like, and the kitchen upstairs though was nice was a bit small. ANYWAYS. The super built-up area is the built-up area plus common areas. The cost of a property is calculated based on the carpet area under the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 (RERA). Built-up area is the total available space in a property, whereas carpet area is the total usable area. It suggests that there is a difference between carpet area and built-up area. On average, the carpet area is around 70% of the built-up area.
