Always eager to learn through experience, Jaylon Jackson is the Program Administrator for the Jefferson County Community Service Fund and supports our HR department at the Community Foundation. Jaylon is from the port city of Mobile, Alabama where he spent his childhood involved in leadership opportunities in his school and community. Jaylon moved to Birmingham to study human resource management at the UAB Collat School of Business Honors Program. He joined the Foundation in the Fall of 2023, allowing him to gain program management experience during the final year of his undergraduate degree. Jaylon entered his current role as the Program Administrator for the Jefferson County Community Service Fund after completing his degree. Jaylon chose to highlight the American Red Cross as a non-profit. He served as a high school volunteer during the annual Red Cross blood drives. As one of his earliest memories of volunteer work, the experience helped fuel Jaylon's mission to serve others. #cfgbham #staffspotlight
