It is easy to see what instruments are physically located in a central laboratory. 🔬 Laboratory instruments rarely move and are generally large. In contrast, #PointofCare devices are usually not seen by laboratory POC, move constantly from location to location (e.g., patient rooms), are small and can often fit into pockets (which can lead to them being misplaced), and there are hundreds or even thousands of them. Yet it is the responsibility of laboratory POC to manage all the POC devices and the quality of results they generate. Learn how TELCOR QML®️ efficiently manages POC devices. 👇 https://hubs.li/Q02wGVSZ0

🔬LCL Technology Spotlight🔬 Liverpool Clinical Laboratories is home to some of the most advanced, high-tech pieces of lab equipment in the UK. Here’s a little bit about our new tech at LCL👇 LCL contains one of the biggest Haematology automated tracks in the North West with Sysmex 9100 analysers and 3x Tosoh G11's. Some interesting information about our Haematology equipment and how it will help improve results in our labs: - The Sysmex 9100 track at our CSSB site is fully automated and has 6 XN Full Blood Count (FBC) analysers and an SP50 slide maker stainer as well as a sample sorter for further offline, manual testing. The track can process up to 600 FBC per hour🩸 - The Sysmex track has been reconfigured and extended to allow the addition of an automated ESR analyser and 3 Tosoh G11 analysers for performing automated HBA1Cs. The addition should dramatically improve turnaround times for HBA1Cs, and will not impede the FBC work throughputs. - The 3 Tosoh G11's alongside Sysmex XN’s, brings haematology and biochemistry together automating the HBA1C sample processing and ultimately improving turnaround times. Blood Science harmonisation brings staff groups together leading to quicker throughput and ultimately a better patient service #Healthcare #HealthcareInnovation #Haematology

At Biovac, we honour medical traditions while driving innovation. Since our inception more than three decades ago, we have understood the importance of traditional medical practices. Medicine cannot be based on technology alone. It has to include a human factor through knowledge and experience. With this binomial as a premise, we have been developing porous coating for more than thirty years, combining sintered microspheres with advanced techniques, respecting the medical principles that have guided professionals for decades. Each coating we apply is a tribute to traditional methods, improved by modern science. More than thirty years of evolution. In this time, we have learned from best practices and adapted our technology, without forgetting the roots of medicine. A bridge between past and future. Biovac positions itself as the link between classic medical techniques and the innovations of tomorrow. Today, in 2024, our porous coating improves osseointegration and healing, but also pays homage to the foundations laid by generations of doctors. #hydroxyapatite #Surgicalimplants #Prosthesis #Osseointegration #Biovacwithyou
